Called the service for boiler not heating up. Before schedule the service I called and checked to confirm the cost of $70 was for service call plus diagnose, however, when the guy came it he suggested to perform a service of the boiler which was another approximately $300, the service was to do the boiler multiple points check and found which component failed. Really do not understand why I was told the $70 service fee including the diagnose.read more

Had Alpha plumbing out for a quote to do a bbq quick connect setup. Came very promptly and provided a free quote. The quote was significantly higher than others I have received which lead me to ask what they charged for a 3/4” bbq quick connect, $75! This is a 150% markup on the $30 part from Home Depot. I would understand $45 but $75 is gouging. I mentioned I had quote lower by $100 dollars and I was offered a reduction and could get the work done right away. I declined as I didn’t want to provide my business to a company doing business in this fashion.read more

Dan was great to deal with. We’ve had multiple leaks in our new build and have dealt with different plumbers, and Alpha plumbing is by far the best. Communication was great and Dan was very knowledgeable and thorough and made sure we could properly diagnose the source of the leak before any invasive work was done. Hopefully this is the last of our plumbing issues, but if we need work in the future we’ll call Alpha plumbing.read more

When I discovered a gas leak in the line to my stove, Dan came quickly to diagnose and repair it. He was efficient and professional. Great service, fast and efficient. We had a couple valves replaced and an outside tap replaced. He explained everything before hand then walked me through it afterwards so as there were no surprises. The price was expensive but we had a lot of parts replaced that they needed to supply so it was cheaper then if we'd called another company which we have done in the past. All around great service and very friendly I will certainly call them again for their service.read more

Alpha plumbing has been so reliable both times I have used them. The first time was for my hot water tank that needed to be replaced and the second time for some leaks in an old water tap. The drain was backing waste water up onto the basement floor, so no plumbing could be used in the house. It’s first thing Monday morning and the usual plumber couldn’t come for two days. At first we were only looking for a spare part for the boiler for our small business. We called several companies and one of them was Alpha Plumbing. Dan promptly answered the phone and promised to call us back in 15 minutes (I never heard back from some of the other companies I called). He called us right back with the positive answer. We ended up booking an emergency dispatch and repair service with him and both times he showed up on on time, was very professional and efficient. Dan is the man. We have been in a high-end rental home for about two years now with an extremely complicated, high-efficiency plumbing and heating system. There is so much equipment in that room I honestly don't know what any of it does. What I do know is that something was beeping in a bad way and now it's not. Dan came in, addressed the heating tank and heating units. He upgraded the systems which hadn't been maintained in a few years and now I can go to sleep without worrying that carbon monoxide is leaking or some other disaster is flooding the room. We told him up front that we would probably be going with the initial contractor we had in to fix the boiler but wanted to get a second opinion and quote.
