Heating Season Facts

Heating Season Facts!

This info will save you $

Furnace + Hot water tank vents: Make sure outside vents aren't blocked by ice/snow. Best practice during cold snaps is to stick a gloved hand into the pipes and remove all snow / ice buildup. Often, re-setting the appliance can clear error codes, and restore heat!

Furnace Filters: Check the furnace filter. A dirty filter restricts airflow. Filter’s should be changed every 2-3 months. Replace if it's dirty, restart the unit after.

Main water valve: Know it’s location and test it’s functionality. This is critical to being able to turn water off to your home, incase of a leak.
